![]() ![]() ![]() For the past several weeks, folks in the neighborhood around Berkeley and Lexington Avenues in Goleta have been watching two red-shouldered hawks raise three youngsters in a nest high up in a star pine tree. Recently, one of the nestlings fledged. The pictures show the mother, the nest with two remaining nestlings, and the precocious sibling atop the neighboring tree. It is the talk of the neighborhood.
